BSEVA Congress 2023

BSEVA Congress 2023 formed a fun, educative and social weekend on the 18th and 19th of February at Cambridge Vet School, discussing many different aspects of equine medicine!

The Saturday consisted of four talks (10:00-16:00), two given by our main sponsor The Horse Trust, then followed by a chiropractics talk and a career panel with BEVA. To top the evening off, a three course meal was served at the University of Cambridge Girton College, followed by cheerful pints/cocktails at the student bar.

The Sunday consisted of two practicals and two talks (10:00-16:00). We discussed international transport and then emergency out of hours work. The practicals included how to perform limb nerve blocks and an ophthalmology session, where we all gave a go at repairing a lid laceration and more exciting surgical skills!
